Broadleaf memory footprint

Hello,

I have developed e-commerce site by using Broadleaf version 2.0.2. Everything is OK. But when I deployed my application to tomcat server, memory footprint for my site is 1.2 GB, including site and admin. Is that memory footprint suitable? Large or Small. Can I reduce memory location for my sites. Because, when I deploy to cloud hosting, charges will be depend on memory usage. What is the default memory footprint for broadleaf ecommerce site, including site and admin?

the war file for each is 80 mbyte.

there are over 50 jar file dependencies.

my 2gb virtual machine chokes during usage.

I think a lot of bloat, the cost of integrating off the shelf products like spring and the like.
but adding on doesn't really cost more resources.

by no replies means that ram is the cost of this solution.

php based might br more cost effective, magento.

Yes, that memory footprint sounds about right for both the site and the admin. And zenman is right, adding in Spring definitely adds to the memory footprint.

For high traffic sites, I would recommend at least 3GB for running both the site and admin applications on the same server.
