Please advise on how can I add Gift Card feature. I am using 1.6.2-SNAPSHOT.

We have gift card support in the form of a commercial module (not part of the open source project). You would need to upgrade to the latest version of Broadleaf and acquire an enterprise support contract, or work with our sales dept for a la carte access.
