Hi ,

I am planning to do ecommerce website.

I am evaluating Broadleaf Commerce. I would like to know if it supports the following or Is it possible to customize the features below if not available and how is the difficulty level to customize.

1) The site should support multiple sellers. ie each seller can create products and upload the images. The admin has to approve the seller and only then he can sell the product.

2) There should be an option for the customer to rent the product along with buy the product and also make an offer to the seller that I can buy if the price is so and so.

3) Payment Gateway and manage orders.

Regards
Srini

Actually it easy to find a best suited eCommerce package for the business needs. There are several solution providers available that can provide you a eCommerce template as to rent and buy the products. But as far as managing payments are concerned then you should involve a sort of professional service provider,as these transactions are required to be secured in SSl certificates. So excluding professional interference could be handy..
Anyways all the best.

According to me the eCommerce application is a bespoke Content Management System (CMS). So as well as updating posts and blogs it specialises in updating products and services and supporting commerce functions.

Like any CMS, the application splits the eCommerce website into two major parts; the front-end or shop-front where the customer can browse and buy goods and the back-end where you login to an administration dashboard and manage the website options, including the product catalogue.
