Will 5.0 Core Source be available?

I've been relying on a heavily hacked core...Example I had to pull Solr for ElasticSearch and other bits and pieces and a lot of Object to Primitives to try and address some performance and memory issues I was having (This is a very unique case)

It's same situation for me.
I think you need to read the article about changed license before.

I did but I don't see anything explicit about the core availability.

This has actually always been available via Maven. We have recently re-invigorated Broadleaf's public GitHub project at github.com/BroadleafCommerce/BroadleafCommerce so all code from all versions is available there under the fair use license.
The Broadleaf forums are being retired as a readonly archive of questions. For active discussions and questions, check out the
broadleaf-commerce tag on Stack Overflow which is actively monitored by the Broadleaf team.
