Hi Guys,

Not sure what is the correct term to be used for this feature. The application I am working on will be having this feature where the clients will put some offers/deals for the users.

For example:

1. Some music institute might offer 1 week course with discount.
2. Some hotel might offer a DJ party with drinks and a mean with some discount.

My questions are:

1. For the above scenario what will be the business term used? Are they offers or deals or something else? Since I am not sure about the term so couldn't find any ecommerce framework.

2. What type of product this will be? As far as I know there are physical and digital products and I think this offers don't fall in any of these categories. So let's say a hotel renting a hall for party, what product is it?

Does Broadleaf has this feature built or do I need to customize ?

I don't think that it really matters whether or not you differentiate between "digital" or "physical". You might even go so far as to call this "digital" since the type of product is really about fulfillment. Since you aren't shipping anything, that would mean that it isn't physical. Since all of the fulfillment happens digitally (communicate with some hotel system) I think I would call that digital.

Does Broadleaf has this feature built or do I need to customize ?

Probably but it would be helpful to be more specific. Broadleaf has a pretty robust offer engine that can more than likely handle whatever use case you have.
