Hi,

We want to develop an ecommerce aggregation portal (or say price search engine) for established local/street (offline) retailers. We want to have following features in our portal:
1. product and price search for a particular location
2. provide list of retailers who have searched product in stock and its price
3. allow customers to order and pay through credit/debit card or netbanking
4. allow administrators to add/update product categories and add/update products under them
5. allow retailers to register with our portal with their details and complete profile.
6. allow retailers to add/update product info (price. availability, offers etc) for product categories and products defined by administrator
7. product recommendation engine based on rules/buying patterns
8. generate reports for sales for individual retailers
9. email management facilities

We want to use Broadleaf commerce framework and some features required by us can surely be met. But we are not sure about possibility of multiple retailer management with Broadleaf.

Can all our requirements be met by Broadleaf framework?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Suraj

It looks like most of these requirements can be met with Broadleaf out of the box. The only ones that I see here that you will have to do custom development on are numbers 7, 8, and possibly 6. You could potentially achieve 6 with the existing admin panel, but you might have to enhance some of the security features that we provide for you. For example, we only provide security for modifying entities themselves so that you can have a dedicated CMS user that cannot modify Products and can only modify the CMS domain. What you are describing is more that a retailer has their own list of Products and you do not want to allow a retailer to modify another retailer's products.
