best way to update category/products in production DB

Hi,

I am trying to figure out what would be the best way to escalate new category/products data from staging to production DB just like how cms data is escalated from sandbox since it is not advisable to add new categories/products/images directly into production DB without testing them out. Please advise.

At the moment, there is no way to migrate the data from one server to another via Broadleaf functionality.

This is a feature that we're currently working on, but it's not quite complete yet.

One way to handle it would be to import the categories / products as non-active and then enable them once the data load is complete.
