Getting the stable release demo site production ready

Hi Broadleaf community,

I am new to broadleaf. I would like to get a demo site up and running. I have a quick question, which version is the stable production ready release that i should pull from ?

I have follow this link ( http://www.broadleafcommerce.com/docs/c ... g-strategy )but not quite understand the branching strategy so please help me to clarify it. What it seems to me is that:

develop branch is trunk, which daily code is committed. Master contains GA releases, and BroadleafCommerce-{version.x} branch is the stable release that i should pull from. In this case, it's BroadleafCommerce-3.1.x. Is that correct ?

Also, I plan to set up the demo site, Heat Clinic, locally, but eventually wipe out everything and start adding in my product, what is the best way to approach this ? Thank you so much for you help.

We keep all of our current stable releases in master branches. So the current stable version of Broadleaf is 3.1.8-GA and that's what we recommend developing against.
