Content Item created is not Visible

Hi,
I created a Content Item through admin module. But it is not Available in Home page. I tried removing and Changing the end date the existing i.e the Shirt Special. But still not visible. Please Help on this

A lot of things could be going on here.
1. Ensure that the new item has a start-date before now.
2. If you have more than 1 content item (Structured Content Item) that is active, the system will choose the one with the lowest priority.
3. By default in community Broadleaf, the cache lives for 5 minutes, so you may just need to wait to see your results or lower the number. You can suspect this is your issue if you restart and things look ok. In Enterprise Broadleaf, there is support for real-time cache management.

Thanks for the reply. There was a problem with the created by of the created content Items, they were getting saved as -1 in BLC_SC Table. I changed the created by from -1 to 1 and the Content is getting displayed.
I would like to know whether there are any API's available to fetch the content items and offers???
