Hi, i am new at broadleaf i have tested the demo. now i want to ask that should i can avail all the features in the feature mentioned in the website with the demo project?, or i need to use the source which is available at sourceforge site. please guide me and is there any document or book available from where i can start using eCommerce websites usning broadleaf.....

so if i need to make eCommerce website then changing in the Demo project should make my work! and if i want to put some custom feature then also demo project is sufficient ? and if i want to add some feature in the broadleaf source code from http://sourceforge.net/projects/broadleaf/

Yes, we would recommend starting with the demo site and going from there. Also, you should definitely not be using the sourceforge version of the project; at the end of last year we switched to being hosted on GitHub, which you can find at https://github.com/BroadleafCommerce. The main framework project is at https://github.com/BroadleafCommerce/BroadleafCommerce. Our current stable version (on the master branch) is 1.6.1, but our development version is at 2.0.0 (which is at release-candidate stage) and we highly recommend any new projects use the 2.0 version (which the demo site currently uses).

Hi, in demo admin panel I have tried to add new user but it is not saving that, so how can I use the admin panel so i can create new user and try cms for changing the content of the demo site?

The payment gateway sends an email receipt to the merchant web server and to the customer. Along with the email receipt, the payment gateway sends the order to the merchant bank. The money is subtracted from the purchaser's credit card account and placed in a 30-day holding merchant account owned by your business.

Marketing
Last, but most important, you need to have a strategy for marketing your site and attracting customers. The old saying, "build it and they will come", does not apply to websites. You need to have a good marketing strategy. This should include search engine optimization, pay-per-clicks, pop-unders, banner ads and affiliates just to name a few.
