Data Driven Enumeration

Hi guys !

We would like have some explanations about the DataDrivenEnumeration and the associated annotation @AdminPresentationDataDrivenEnumeration.

1/ What are the differences between this kind of enum and Broadleaf Enumeration (like PaymentType)?
2/ How to use it? We haven't found an example in your code.

In fact, we would like to store several enumerations in the database (because we need a ManyToMany relation between a product and paymentType and we wonder if we have to use DataDrivenEnumeration).

Formal documentation for this keeps getting pushed. Essentially, the field will be a String and you will annotated that field with both @DataDrivenEnumeration and @AdminPresentation. If you look at the @DatadrivenEnumeration it should let to know what the various parameters are. By default it keys off of the BLC_DATA_DRIVEN_ENUM table which is not managed in the admin anywhere but you can fill in manually in the database.

The @DataDrivenEnumeration annotation also allows you to specify any other entity that you want to use in the drop down to build the list.
