Email configuration in the Demosite Bundle

Hi,
I have downloaded the Broadleaf Demosite 2.2 and its working.
But i want to know that how can I test the Email configuration in the development Environment??
I found that there are some commented beans in the applicationContext-email.xml, and i tried uncommenting those beans.
But all in vain
Glad if someone can help me out in this.
