BLC 3.0 with Inventory Module?

Hi folks,

Thanks for this amazing system... I am building up a website using BLC and I know you guys are really busy upgrading everything to 3.0 but I am struggled with this matter.. I searched the forums, documentations and analyzed some of the codes on various branches, I can´t determine the correct path to follow on adding Inventory control to my site... I´m scared of taking the wrong direction and have to re-factor everything in order to stay sync with you.

What I´ve found so far:

1)This library seems to have the entire or big part of the code needed to use the inventory control, but it seem to use GWT that you guys removed from the admin front-end, also I can´t find the git project for this module what causes me to fear it is abandoned:
http://nexus.broadleafcommerce.org/nexus/content/repositories/releases/org/broadleafcommerce/broadleaf-inventory/

2)I´ve found some code inside the broadleaf-framework 3.0 but has the message:
@deprecated This is no longer required and is instead implemented as a third-party inventory module

So, I kindly ask you where can I get this module and its source and the right directions to follow on integrating it to my system.

I thank you in forward,

Best Regards,

Bruno

The 2.x inventory module had issues and was not completely developed. This 2.x module will not be maintained or ported to 3.0.

We will provide a simple inventory module as a new community add-on (timeline in a few weeks) and a more feature rich inventory module as an enterprise add on (timeline not yet determined).

The framework provides service hooks to connect with enterprise inventory systems.

Thank you Brian for the answer...

For basic functionality of at least quantity available would you recommend a specific approach or workaround? Cause I want to build a working prototype of a client and maybe even put online on the next week.. Thanks again for your time.

Best regards,
