Broadleaf Commerce 1.5.1 GA is now available on GitHub (www.github.com/BroadleafCommerce).
Coupled with the release of 1.5 are several general improvements. We've moved to GitHub which will allow for greater community participation with the framework. The code is now on MavenCentral which simplifies the dependency setup for BLC projects. The project also has a maven archetype that developers can use to setup their project structure following the Broadleaf Commerce team recommendations.
Highlights from this release are:
- Rule based promotion admin
- Content management system that supports custom, internationalized pages and targeted content
- Improved merchandising UI
- BLC admin switched using GWT and SmartGWT
- Move to GitHub
- Code in Maven Central
- Splitting the demo from the framework code
- Performance tuning and bug fixes
