Tax Modules

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a plan in the future releases on implementing tax modules like Tax cloud or any other other than cybersource since that will not work for start ups.

Adding your own TaxModule implementation is quite easy.

I looked at TaxCloud. My understanding is that it requires users to provide their bank account information so that taxes can be automatically collected. That was enough to not have us add that to the framework at this time.

What are you trying to accomplish and maybe we can help you out with a custom tax module?

I am looking for a solution to use a similar service like cybersource but not expensive or maintain tax rates in the db tables and use those rates based on customer billing zip code. I am trying to understand and wondering what the issue is to provide bank account for automatic taxes collections and also I am thinking it is optional feature.

Can't tax be determined by billing address?
