cache warm up

Hi,

I have a question regarding broadleaf cache, I read broadleaf is using ehcache for hibernate.
I read somewhere that in general, when cache is nearly empty during app starts up, there might be a lot of load on DB side and even crash DB if there are too many users\queries. I am interested how this could be solved by broadleaf ?

That is an excellent question that I do not know the answer to off the top of my head. We have not seen a problem that I am aware of regarding this in our load testing. Let me ask around a bit and see if anybody has seen this as a problem.
